Privacy Policy

rstore is an independent catalogue of Android apps. This policy explains what data the rstore app processes and why. In short: we do not create accounts, we do not show ads, and usage statistics are anonymous.

Who we are

The rstore app and catalogue are maintained by the rstore team. For any questions about your data, write to husnainworks@gmail.com. rstore is not affiliated with Google LLC and is not an official Google Play service.

What stays on your device

Saved (favourite) apps, search history, recently viewed app pages, appearance settings, and internal counters the app uses to decide when to ask you to rate rstore. This data is not sent to us, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings.

What our server receives

To show the catalogue, the app requests it from the rstore server. Each request includes the interface language, the app version and, for recommendations, the IDs of categories and apps from the catalogue. We do not send or store device identifiers, the advertising ID, your phone number or your contacts.

Like any internet service, our server and the Cloudflare delivery network process the IP address a request comes from. This is needed to deliver the response and to protect the service from attacks and abuse. We do not use your IP address to identify you.

In-app ratings and feedback

If you rate rstore in the app, the rating, an optional comment, the app version and the interface language are sent to our server. Feedback is anonymous: it is not linked to your device or any account. Please do not include personal information in your comment.

Support emails

If you email us (including through “Report a problem”), we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use them only to reply to you and do not share them with third parties.

Usage statistics

To understand which parts of the catalogue are useful, the app uses Firebase Analytics (Google LLC). We collect anonymous events: which screens and categories are opened, how long a session lasts, which app pages are viewed, saved to favourites and opened in Google Play, and ratings of rstore. From search, only the length of the query and the number of results are sent — never the text of the query itself.

In doing so, Firebase processes an app instance ID, the device model, the OS version and your approximate country. This data is processed on Google’s servers, including outside your country. The advertising ID is not collected, the data is not used for advertising, and there are no ads in the app.

The app has no separate switch for usage statistics. We do not collect crash reports.

Google Play

rstore does not download or install apps. The “Open in Google Play” button opens the app’s page in Google Play, and rating rstore may open the Google Play review dialog. Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply there.

Permissions

The app needs only internet access and network state information — to load the catalogue and to show saved data when you are offline.

Children

rstore is not specifically intended for children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page and in the app with a new “last updated” date.
